About Me
Hi! I am Guen. I am a fast-learning, curious, polyvalent nerd.
Since I was a little kid, I loved to read, explore, discover, and solve puzzles. More importantly, I loved to learn. I still do.
Going into university, I attended an M.Sc. in Multilingual Computing and Localization. I learned how to efficiently communicate a message across different cultures, thanks to computing and the web.
I also achieved two more MA’s, one in Conference Interpreting and one in European Studies with a focus on European Law.
The more I worked with languages and computing, the more I wanted to learn about Natural Language Processing. I found myself drawn to the field, which combines my love for languages, communication, computer science, learning, researching, and exploring. Moreover, it allows me to put my analytical and problem-solving skills to the test, and I simply couldn’t ask for more!

In my day-to-day work, I find creative ways to implement the latest technologies, develop new language models, and overall streamline the workflow in my company. I also work in Translation and Localization, which helps me keep my passion for languages and communication alive.
There is always something new to learn, a new problem to solve, and a new system to build; for that, I am incredibly grateful.
When I am not experimenting with Machine Learning models or learning new languages (natural and programming languages alike), you can find me watering my plants, or explaining to my mom how to access her email for the 10000th time.
